Provincial People's Committee Vice-Chairman checks flooding response

Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee led a mission to check flooding prevention and control efforts in Nha Trang City and Dien Khanh District on November 16.

The leader checked the flooding response in Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Khanh District and in the communes of Vinh Trung and Vinh Hiep in Nha Trang City.

Dinh Van Thieu highly appreciated the flood response preparedness in the two localities and asked local authorities to immediately deploy approved flood and storm prevention plans; and arrange guards to give directions and warnings to ensure safety, especially in critical places.

Localities are implementing natural disaster prevention and control plans with contingency arrangements in terms of human forces and equipment in place to respond to any emergencies in an effort to protect lives and properties.
