Provincial working visit to Sumitomo Group (Japan)

Within the framework of a business trip to Japan, Khanh Hoa provincial delegation led by Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee paid a working visit to Sumitomo Group (Japan) on November 10.

The leader of Sumitomo Group introduced its labor, business scale and main fields. Sumitomo Group is currently known as the largest foreign investor in Khanh Hoa. The Group is implementing phase 2 of Van Phong 1 BOT Thermal Power Plant Project.

Sumitomo Group is still seeking opportunities to implement projects in Vietnam related to industrial parks, health care, data infrastructures, airport, seaport and smart city projects.

At the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh introduced the potential and strengths of the province so that Sumitomo Group would consider expanding investment in Khanh Hoa, which has been identified to become a centrally-governed city by 2030.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh also confirmed that the province always accompanies and supports the group during the investment and development of projects in Khanh Hoa.
