Moderate to heavy rain has caused localized flooding in some areas across Khanh Hoa Province.

By 3:00 p.m. on November 15, nearly 100 hectares of agricultural crops in Ninh Hoa Town were flooded. In Cam Ranh City, some areas were up to 0.3 to 0.5m deluged by flood water. Localized flooding was also reported in Cam Lam District. However, The floodwater is subsiding.

In Khanh Vinh District, some points were badly flooded, especially on submersible bridges. In Khanh Son District, the high water level of the To Hap River and many main streams left many submersible bridges flooded, causing traffic disruption. By 5:00 p.m. on the same day, the flood water gradually receded. Traffic has returned to normal after delay due to flooding.

Yang Bay submersible bridge flooded is closed to traffic due to flooding.

From 9 pm last night, the downpours began to bring flooding in some areas in Nha Trang City, especially riverside villages in the communes of Vinh Phuong, Vinh Thanh Commune and Vinh Ngoc.

Cai River water keeps rising.

The localities have arranged forces and checkpoints to prevent residents from crossing flooded bridges and traveling through dangerous areas; put warning signs and barriers; and prepare evacuation plans to promptly respond to any emergencies and ensure safety.
