Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Confederation has just honored enterprises with comprehensive employee benefits. The businesses have fully implemented labor policies and provided stable work and income. They have retained employees by giving them good reasons to stay and contribute to the development of the enterprise.

In the hustle and bustle of the working environment at Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory (Trang E Industrial Cluster) during the last days of the year, Nguyen Thanh An, a worker said that the factory has moved to a new, more spacious location. Despite economic hardship last year, the factory still guaranteed jobs and increased workers' income. In addition to salaries and bonuses, the factory arranged shuttle buses, improved lunch breaks and periodically conducted health checks. Employees are very excited and feel attached to the company.

According to Chau Thi Kim Loan, Director of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory, the factory moved from Vinh Truong Ward (Nha Trang City) to Trang E Industrial Cluster in 2023. During that process, the factory still maintains production to fulfill orders from partners. The factory's total revenue in 2023 is estimated to reach VND7,708 billion, exceeding 7% of the plan with a pre-tax profit of VND195.7 billion, contributing more than VND3,100 billion to the national budget.

The greatest satisfaction is the increase in income for 630 employees with an average of VND24 million/person/month, 32% higher than in 2022. Besides, the factory has maintained regular health check-up benefits, organized vacations to Da Lat and tours to Japan and South Korea for employees together with cultural and sporting activities and provided career development opportunities. The factory will organize 2024 New Year’s Eve Gala for employees.

According to Khanh Hoa Sanest Soft Drink Joint Stock Company, in 2023, despite economic difficulties, the company has made efforts to ensure stable work for 1,200 employees with an average income of more than VND23 million/person/month, a year-on-year increase of more than 10%.

In addition, the company has made a plan for 2024 New Year bonuses expected to be higher than last year. In addition to fully implementing labor policies, the company has also offered employee benefits, including eye care allowance; VND10,000 for after-lunch break, periodical health check-ups to boost productivity, etc.

For many years, VCN Investment Joint Stock Company (Nha Trang City) has guaranteed jobs and increased income for employees. Duong Tan Phat, a security guard said, "Working for the company for only 9 months, I get benefits in terms of health check-ups, childcare benefits, birthday gifts and so on."

According to Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy General Director of VCN Investment Joint Stock Company, in 2023, although still faced with many difficulties, the company has managed to ensure stable jobs with salaries, bonuses and insurance benefits for employees. The average income of 528 workers is VND13 million/person/month. The company's revenue reached about VND810 billion as of the end of November. These achievements are thanks to the efforts, dedication, creativity and commitment of employees. Therefore, the company always prioritizes strategies that provide comprehensive employee benefits. 

In 2023, impacted by the global socio-economic challenges, many businesses have been shuttered together with laidoffs. Some enterprises have been struggling to survive, keep positions filled and remain stable to retain employees. The Provincial Labor Confederation recognized and honored the efforts of the businesses and hoped they would make continued efforts to weather the difficulties to grow while contributing to improving employees’ health, well-being and productivity, according to Bui Hoai Nam, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Confederation.
