Khanh Hoa General Hospital completes PRIME program

Khanh Hoa General Hospital held a ceremony on December 7 to honor a hospital completing the patient safety initiative program called  “Preventing Risks of Infections and Medication Errors in IV therapy” (PRIME). 

PRIME is developed by Joint Commission International for Patient Safety with sponsorship by BD. 

Khanh Hoa General Hospital is certified by the Joint Commission International for Patient Safety upon successful completion of PRIME program.

Two public hospitals namely Da Nang General Hospital and Khanh Hoa General Hospital, in Vietnam have completed the program. Khanh Hoa General Hospital has implemented the PRIME since early 2023.

The programmatic approach towards patient safety is developed for over six months, composed of goal-setting, constant progress review, tele-consultations with experts and scientific updates through webinars.
