According to Le Minh Trung, Chief of Khanh Vinh District Education and Training Department, in the 2018 General Education Program, ethnic minority languages are optional subjects with 8 languages. Many Raglai and Ede ethnic minority people are living in Khanh Vinh District.
In April 2022, the Ministry of Education & Training issued a program on improving the teaching of ethnic minority languages in the General Education Curricula in the 2021-2030 period. The program aims to strengthen Vietnamese language education for ethnic minority students in an effort to preserve the languages of ethnic minorities.
