PM Pham Minh Chinh receives governors of 5 Japanese prefectures

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received the governors of the 5 Japanese prefectures of Aichi, Tochigi, Niigata, Kanagawa and Yamanashi in Tokyo on December 17 within the framework of the trip to attend the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Year of ASEAN - Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

Also present at the reception was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of ministries, departments and agencies.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh appreciated the results of the Japanese prefectures’ partnerships with Vietnamese ministries, sectors, and localities, as well as the support of the governors and their prefectures’ administrations for cooperation with Vietnam.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee received Nakagawa Tetsuyuki, General Director of AeonMall Vietnam Co., Ltd. on December 18. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee proposed the company would consider investing in luxurious trade center projects in Nha Trang City. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki expressed his desire to continue searching for investment opportunities in Khanh Hoa.

On the same day, Nguyen Tan Tuan met with leaders of some Japanese information technology businesses to promote cooperation with the Center for Information Technology and Foreign Languages ​​under the University of Information and Communications.
