"During dry and sunny days, fire risk is high when my family uses firewood for cooking. I feel safer with a portable fire extinguisher at home,” said a resident named Cao Tien in Tay Nam Village. "I use both gas and firewood for cooking, so having a portable fire extinguisher available for use at home is very helpful and effective for extinguishing small fires in their early stages. We were also provided fire safety training," said Cao Thi Mau, one of the first residents having received a portable fire extinguisher in Tay Nam Village when the Commune People's Committee launched the campaign "Safe home - Safe community".
