Lunar New Year 2024 tree–planting campaign to take place Feb.15

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a plan to launch the 2024 Lunar New Year tree–planting campaign linked with the program on cultivating 1 billion trees, period 2021 - 2025.

Accordingly, the tree–planting campaign in memory of Uncle Ho is scheduled to take place in Suoi Lau 2 Village, Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District at 8am on February 15 or the 6th day of the Lunar New Year.

This year’s tree–planting campaign will be linked with tree care and environmental protection in public places, along streets and in residential areas in the province.

The tree–planting campaign in memory of Uncle Ho is a meaningful activity on the first days of a lunar new year.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has requested districts and towns; agencies, businesses and schools in the province to organize activities in response to the 2024 tree–planting campaign based on specific conditions.
