Accelerating urban renovation and embellishment

Urban innovation and decoration have been basically completed in Nha Trang City to mark Nha Trang City’s 100th anniversary of construction and development (1924 - 2024) and 15 years of Nha Trang recognized as a class I municipality under Khanh Hoa Province (2009 - 2024).

Beautifying the city

These days, the city’s appearance is being enhanced with colorful flowers and flags along streets. The sidewalks on Tran Phu – Pham van Dong have been beautifully re-paved. The urban decoration also includes innovation and illumination on main streets with small landscapes on traffic islands and medians of the Ring Road 2, Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Tran Phu Street together with light installations on the streets of Le Thanh Ton, Thai Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Yersin.

According to Nguyen Thi Minh Hien, Deputy Director of Nha Trang City Public Service Management Board, under the direction of the City People's Committee, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nha Trang City construction and development, the urban decoration also includes innovation and illumination on main streets, at 23-10 Park, the beach park from 2-4 Square to Tue Tinh Street and Tram Huong Tower Park. The work is scheduled to be completed on March 30.

Nha Trang Urban Environment Company has mobilized all forces to speed up the innovation and illumination on main streets with small landscapes on Tran Phu Street, Pham Van Dong Street, Vo Nguyen Giap Street together with tree pruning and trimming along streets and at roundabouts.

According to Pham Vinh Nghiep, Deputy General Director of Nha Trang Urban Environment Company, the city decoration is mainly at traffic islands and at gateways to the city together with the event banners and posters adding to the urban appeal.

Groundbreaking for Nha Trang City Administrative Center on April 1

According to Nguyen Chi Danh, Director of Nha Trang Construction Project Management Board, after a long period of preparation, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nha Trang City construction and development, the groundbreaking of Nha Trang City Administrative Center is due to take place on April 1.

This construction will be a smart urban operating center, serving the People's Council, People's Committee and specialized agencies under the city. The construction is located at 114 Hoang Hoa Tham Street. The project landscape architecture competition has been completed.

Nha Trang Construction Project Management Board recommended that the City People's Committee direct relevant units to coordinate and speed up the appraisal and approval of Loc Tho ward zoning planning to ensure the project will be implemented on schedule; local departments and agencies to coordinate and create favorable conditions for the project to meet the implementation schedule; striving to complete the project before the 18th City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
