Promoting youth’s positive development and contribution

Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a dialogue conference with more than 300 Youth Union members and young people in the province on March 23.

The dialogue provided an opportunity for Youth Union members to share their views and speak out their thoughts, concerns and aspirations as well as their recommendations and proposals to the provincial leader.

At the open dialogue, many questions were raised by students and members of the Youth Unions of Nha Trang College of Technology, Provincial Public Security, Communications Officer Training School, etc., showing their views, interests and concerns related to digital transformation; employment for rural youth; challenges and opportunities in the digital era for young people in the current development process.

The youth's questions were satisfactorily answered by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and agencies. Young people have been given guidance in learning and training to promote their strength and further contribution to the provincial development.

Chairman Nguyen Tan Tuan expressed his delight at young people’s interests in the field of digital technology, cyber-security, social economic development and employment for young people. Many of the ideas proposed by young people at the conference were very practical. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan directed relevant departments and agencies to jointly have appropriate solutions based on the recommendations. In particular, he requested the youth of the Provincial Public Security and the Department of Information and Communications to promote guidance against high-tech crimes; and the youth organizations of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts to have practical activities to introduce and promote local agricultural products.

Regarding the annual military summer semester program, the Provincial Youth Union was asked to cooperate with the Information Officer School to create a favorable environment for participants to learn about information technology development.

Concluding the dialogue conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan emphasized the province will have specific conclusions to assign tasks based on the dialogue to the Provincial Youth Union and relevant agencies. The province always creates favorable conditions for the youth to contribute, thrive and develop fully. Youth Union organizations were asked to be more proactive in proposing coordination with departments and agencies to implement the results of the dialogue, contributing to the provincial development.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union celebrated the 93rd foundation anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26 (1931 –2024). At the event, the Provincial Youth Union commended 46 outstanding Youth Union secretaries in 2024 with great achievements in the Youth Union tasks and the youth movements; practical models and initiatives recognized by local departments, agencies and localities.
