South African Ambassador visits Khanh Hoa

Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee welcomed Vuyiswa Tulelo, South African Ambassador to Vietnam. Also present at the reception were leaders of some local departments and agencies.

Nguyen Tan Tuan gave an overview of provincial potentials, strengths and socio-economic development strategies. Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee welcomed the South African Embassy's conference "Promoting South African trade and tourism" in the near future in Nha Trang City. The conference is considered as an investment opportunity for businesses in Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa provinces in the fields of trade, fisheries, tourism, culture and sports with business representatives from South Africa.

Nguyen Tan Tuan also agreed with Vuyiswa Tulelo's suggestion on cooperation between South African localities with similar conditions with Khanh Hoa Province. On this occasion, Nguyen Tan Tuan invited Vuyiswa Tulelo to attend the 2024 Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival in June and expressed the hope that the ambassador would provide a link for Khanh Hoa Province to promote trade, tourism, sports and investment cooperation.

Vuyiswa Tulelo said that the leaders of the Republic of South Africa always honor the long-standing friendship with Vietnam, adding that the working visit was to strengthen economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between Khanh Hoa Province and partners from the Republic of South Africa, contributing to promoting the understanding of mutual potentials, strengths and opportunities for investment cooperation and development.

Vuyiswa Tulelo also expressed her delight and efforts to provide a link for businesses, investors, tourists and football players from South Africa to seek opportunities in Khanh Hoa Province.
