Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary celebrated at Hung Kings’ Temple

On the 10th of the lunar third month (April 18), Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary 2024 was celebrated at Hung Kings' Temple at 173 Ngo Gia Tu Street, Nha Trang City.

Present at the ceremony were Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ho Van Mung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee; together with members of the Party Central Committee, Khanh Hoa Provincial Permanent Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of Armed Forces, representatives of Phu Tho Provincial Compatriot Association and local residents.

After the opening ceremony, representatives and locals offered incense to Hung Kings, praying for peace and happiness.

It is a national holiday held annually to commemorate and pay tribute to Hung kings, Vietnamese ancestors, who had the merit of founding and protecting the country of Vietnam, contributing to strengthening the national solidarity.
