Museum staff have made great effort to take photos and make videos about marine species, write about their descriptions and post them online to make exhibits inviting. Besides, funny introductions about the museum are created like “The fish never sleeps, neither does the museum”, etc. Marine species have been also given funny names based on their shapes and personalities. To attract the attention of visitors, every month, the museum also reveals the animals most loved by visitors through interactions on the fanpage. The article about the SAU or crocodile has received 1 million views on the museum fanpage.
In addition, the museum has promoted its marketing to ensure its information reaches residents and visitors to Khanh Hoa. Many unique activities have been held such as an underwater lion dance, Christmas gifts from Santa Claus, fish feeding underwater and so on.
These activities have been posted on mass and social media, helping attract visitors. Many residents in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa have returned to the museum to explore more about the marine life exhibits and events at the museum.

I really like whale skeletons and stories about marine life here," said Nguyen Ngoc Huong (Phuoc Long Ward, Nha Trang City).
Themed display
Along with marketing change, the Museum of Oceanography has improved its exhibits based on topics to make them more suitable and convenient for demonstration. They include marine resource exhibition of Spratly and Paracel Islands, marine biodiversity, etc.
