Nha Trang City marks 100th anniversary of construction and development

The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Trang City solemnly held the 100th anniversary of Nha Trang City’s construction and development (1924 - 2024) and 15 years of Nha Trang recognized as a the class I municipality under Khanh Hoa Province (2009 - 2024) at Khanh Hoa Provincial Convention Center on April 2.

Tran Thanh Man, Standing Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly awards the President's 3rd-Class Labor Medal to Nha Trang City.

Present at the event were Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Standing Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Central Party Committee Member; Nguyen Thanh Hai, Central Party Committee Member, Thai Nguyen Provincial Secretary and leaders of the provinces of Dak Lak, lam Dong, Ninh Thuan and Phu Yen.

Leaders of Khanh Hoa Province and Nha Trang City attending the event were Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ho Van Mung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee; together with members of the Party Central Committee, Khanh Hoa Provincial Permanent Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; former leaders of Khanh Hoa Province; heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, leaders of local departments and agencies.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha awards the Government Emulation Flag to Nha Trang City.

The celebration is an opportunity for local people to review the heroic history, unique traditions,  cultural values, potentials and strengths of Nha Trang City and thus strive to make Nha Trang City greener, more beautiful, more sustainable and more prosperous, contributing to the breakthrough of Khanh Hoa, the development of the South Central region and the whole country.

Nguyen Hai Ninh, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Nguyen Tan Tuan,Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee present a decision approving Nha Trang green transformation and green growth project, in the period 2024-2030 to Nha Trang leaders.

At the celebration, on behalf of the President, the Standing Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly awarded the President's 3rd-Class Labor Medal to Nha Trang City; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to Nha Trang City; The Provincial People's Committee presented a decision approving Nha Trang green transformation and green growth project, in the period 2024-2030.
