Khanh Hoa delegation visits Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to United Nations

On May 29, Khanh Hoa Provincial delegation led by Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee met with the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to the United Nations (New York) on a working visit to the United States. Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to the United Nations received the provincial delegation.

Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang gave an overview of outstanding achievements and activities of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam to the United Nations and promised to provide a link for businesses in the United States as well as other countries to invest in Khanh Hoa.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh introduced provincial development potential, strength and strategies from now to 2023 connected with the 3 key economic regions of Van Phong Bay, Nha Trang City and Cam Ranh Bay, along with the Politburo's Resolution on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province with the goal that Khanh Hoa will become a centrally-governed city by 2030.

In 2023, Khanh Hoa's GRDP increased by 10.35%, ranking fourth nationwide and first in the north-central and central coastal region with the increase in provincial ranking indexes, including PAPI, SIPAS and PAR Index. In 2023, Khanh Hoa received more than 7 million overnight tourists with a total turnover of nearly VND32,000 billion.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh hoped Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang and other delegation members would support the provincial delegation in signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Boston City government (USA); provide a link with US businesses in the fields of petrochemical refining technology, logistics, high-class urban and tourism development, semiconductor technology; education and training, high-quality human resources, etc.
