Nguyen Khac Toan confirmed the traditional cooperation friendship between Vietnam and Russia in general and between Khanh Hoa and Saint Petersburg City in particular.
On behalf of provincial leaders, he thanked Kalganov Vycheslav Gennadyevich and the city delegation for the working visit to Khanh Hoa and welcomed their attendance at the 2024 Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival. He also thanked Saint Petersburg City for cooperation with Khanh Hoa Province in many fields, including economics, health, defense, education, people-to-people exchange and so on.
At the meeting, Nguyen Khac Toan gave an overview of provincial potentials, strengths and development strategies. On this occasion, Nguyen Khac Toan suggested Saint Petersburg City delegation would promote cooperation activities between the two localities, especially in the fields of tourism, health care, education, information technology training, and cybersecurity and people-to-people exchanges.
According to Kalganov Vycheslav Gennadyevich, Saint Petersburg City leaders highly appreciated the cooperation relationship with Khanh Hoa and the city governor will pay a working visit to Khanh Hoa in 2025. Kalganov Vycheslav Gennadyevich suggested the two localities would further cooperate in tourism, cancer treatment research, information technology and academic exchange of universities.
On behalf of Saint Petersburg City leaders., Kalganov Vycheslav Gennadyevich invited leaders of Khanh Hoa Province to attend the Vietnam Cultural Week and the Saint Petersburg City International Book Fair scheduled to take place in May 2025.
