Memorandum of cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Hiroshima signed

Within the framework of the provincial mission to Japan, a memorandum of cooperation between Khanh Hoa Province and Hiroshima Province signed on June 25.

Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka; Hidehiko Yuzaki, Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture; and Nakamoto Takashi, Chairman of Hiroshima Prefectural Council.

This is an important event marking the results of the working session between Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hai Ninh and Chairman of Hiroshima Prefectural Council in November 2023. This is the starting event for the cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Hiroshima, creating a premise for the cooperation and exchange in the fields of investment, tourism, human resources, etc.

Based on the cooperation agreement, the two sides will exchange and discuss bilateral cooperation contents to promote the cooperation to new heights, opening up many new cooperation opportunities in economics and tourism, human resource development together with practical and effective cultural exchange activities, contributing to promoting the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan invited Hidehiko Yuzaki, Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture; Nakamoto Takashi, Chairman of Hiroshima Prefectural Council and the Hiroshima Art Troupe to attend Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025.

* After the cooperation signing ceremony between Khanh Hoa Province and Hiroshima Province, Khanh Hoa provincial mission paid a courtesy visit to Nakamoto Takashi, Chairman of Hiroshima Prefectural Council (Japan) at Takashi Nakamoto’s Office.

On this occasion, Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed the hope that Takashi Nakamoto would promote the support for students in Khanh Hoa to study overseas in Hiroshima and the province in the development of human resources in tourism, health care, etc.

* On the same day, the mission paid a working visit to the Office of the Hiroshima - Vietnam Association in Hiroshima. At the reception was Shoji Kamikubo - Chairman of the Hiroshima - Vietnam Association and other members of the association.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan hoped that Hiroshima - Vietnam Association would provide support for Khanh Hoa students and workers to learn, work and lead a stable life in Hiroshima. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hoped to establish Hiroshima - Khanh Hoa Association Branch.

* On the same day, the mission had a working session with Sumitomo Corporation, visited the Hiroshima Prefectural Peace Museum and laid flowers at the Peace Memorial.
