Provincial Party Committee Secretary works with EDP Renewables Group leaders

On June 18, Nguyen Hai Ninh - Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee welcomed Miguel Fonseca, CEO of EDP Renewables Group, a Portugal's energy group.

At the meeting, Miguel Fonseca thanked the province for favorable conditions for the group to invest in Trung Son Solar Power Plant project in Cam Lam District.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized Khanh Hoa's tourism development strengths; Therefore, the Central and provincial leaders have prioritized green transformation and green development in the provincial development strategies.

Nguyen Hai Ninh welcomed EDP Renewables Group's search for investment opportunities for new projects in Khanh Hoa; The province is willing to cooperate with the group in renewable energy development.

Also at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan highly appreciated the effectiveness of Trung Son Solar Power Plant Project and suggested the group would invest in rooftop solar power projects in tourist areas far from the mainland.
