Work begins on 100 houses for the poor  

In Hon Lay Village, Khanh Hiep Commune, Khanh Vinh District, on June 19, Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 100 houses for the poor in Khanh Vinh District.

Present at the event were Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Thu Mai, Vice-Chairperson of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee together with leaders of local departments and agencies in Khanh Vinh District.

The house construction for the poor in Khanh Vinh District is part of activities to welcome the 11th Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Phu Khanh Petroleum Company, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee will build 100 houses for poor households in Khanh Vinh, including 11 in Khanh Hiep Commune with a total cost of VND8 billion.

Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee requested local party committees, authorities and organizations to continue ensuring social security and sustainable poverty reduction; and called on businesses, agencies, organizations and individuals to join efforts with the Party Committee and authorities to support poor households to lift themselves out of poverty and improve their living standards, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
