Photo exhibition week: Vietnamese lawyers with homeland seas and islands

Vietnam Lawyers’ Association kicked off the 5th annual Week for Photo Exhibition themed "Vietnamese lawyers with homeland sea and islands" at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City on July 2.

Vietnam Lawyers’ Association offers a landmark model of Spratly Islands.

Present at the event were Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Quyen, Chairman of Vietnam Lawyers’ Association; Ngo Chi Thanh, Deputy Director of the National Assembly law Committee; Ho Van Mung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; and Le Xuan Than, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Lawyers’ Association.

The week takes place on July 2-8, featuring as many as 400 photos and artifacts as historical proofs about Vietnam’s sovereignty over Paracel and Spratly islands; the concern of the State and leaders over soldiers and people on islands; beauty of Vietnam sea and islands; some activities of Vietnam Lawyers’ Association; activities of leaders, officials and people of Khanh Hoa on the Spratly Islands and the DK1 platforms.

The photo exhibition is a meaningful activity contributing to raising public awareness of officials and people about the roles of Vietnam sea and islands, inspiring the patriotism, sense of national pride, strengthening revolutionary education and enhancing the sense of responsibility toward the homeland sea and islands.
