State funeral held for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

Vietnam has lost General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, an outstanding steadfast revolutionary leader who had devoted his life to the cause of national liberation and the revolutionary cause of the Party. His passing away is a big loss to the Party, State and people of Vietnam. The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is organized in the national mourning etiquette.

The respect-paying ceremony takes place at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong street, Hanoi City from 7am to 10pm on July 25, and from 7am to 1pm on July 26. The memorial service is held at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi City at 1pm on July 26.

At the same time, the respect-paying and memorial ceremonies for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong are held at Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City and in his homeland in Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City.
