Striving to improve PCI and PGI

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued an Action Program to improve the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and Provincial Green Index (PGI) in 2024 with the goal of creating synchronous and substantive increase in PCI index criteria, striving to have the PCI index in the group of provinces and cities with good governance quality; and continue improving the PGI index in 2025.

The Provincial People's Committee required departments and localities to synchronously and drastically implement solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business; effectively implement credit policies, contributing to reducing costs and creating favorable conditions for businesses to develop; focus on directing and thoroughly handling off-budget investment projects that are recognized with violations or behind schedule to free up resources to serve socio-economic development; continue to reform administrative procedures; upgrade the Provincial Online Public Administrative Service Center; promote online payments and public postal services, etc.

In 2023, Khanh Hoa's PCI index ranked 34th out of 63 provinces and cities, down 18 places compared to 2022; Khanh Hoa's PGI index ranked 15th, up 19 places compared to 2022.
