Thousands of State officials, residents, overseas Vietnamese and foreign dignitaries pay respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

Thousands of State officials, residents, overseas Vietnamese and foreign dignitaries have paid their last respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. 

As many as 1,565 delegations with 55,600 individuals from the Party, State, ministries, departments, organizations, localities, foreign dignitaries, residents, overseas Vietnamese, people’s armed forces, diplomatic missions and international organizations have come to pay their respects and send condolences to the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong since 7:30 on July 25.

From the early morning, crowds of citizens, officials and soldiers attended the ceremony to pay respects and tribute to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, an exceptional leader, who had made significant contributions to the Party and the nation.

The Central Party Executive Committee delegation led by To Lam, Politburo member and State President pays respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi City. 
On July 25, thoudsands of residents present at Lai Da Village Cultural House, Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City to pay respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
