Learning English online for free

"Khanh Hoa residents speak English" program has just opened the 2nd free English online course with no age and level limits and no charge through high-quality lessons and resources. The class is designed for those who wish to learn, practice and improve their English communication skills at any time they wish for free.

Learners can practice pronunciation and communication skills by experienced local and foreign teachers. The classes have a diverse curriculum, including 30 basic and 30 advanced topics related to daily life and at work. With basic to advanced levels, the course is designed to suit both beginners and advanced learners who want to master their English communication skills.

Kieu Anh (Tan Lap Ward, Nha Trang City) said, “The learning channel run by the program is so helpful and convenient and especially free of charge so everyone can take part in. I also encourage my daughter to join the online course.”

According to Doan Van Tien, a professional manager in charge of the class, learning English online is a current trend, meeting many people’s needs. Therefore, from March to May, the "Khanh Hoa residents speak English" program organized a free basic English course consisting of 24 classes with nearly 20 attendants.

In addition, there was an advanced course for young people with some in grades 4 and 5 showing excellence in English and social knowledge. Many classes created good opportunities for communication and interactions between teachers and learners and among learners themselves, creating a lively learning atmosphere. After the course, most students made significant progress, especially becoming more confident in communicating in English. The new course is expected to start on August 20.

At the beginning of the course, teachers will organize fun games to classify learners’ levels and then adjust the lessons to suit learners. Teachers will send materials and exercises for students to read and get prepared before each class and suggest topics and materials for reference, at the end of the class.

Volunteers, young, dynamic, and with professional training, can keep learners motivated and actively engaged in their classes. The class also has a chat group where everyone can chat, share pictures, and learn funny lessons together.

 “Feel free to join the English class of the Khanh Hoa People Speaking English Program. The class will give feedback for learners to improve their skills. The class is to help people speak English confidently and fluently in daily life as well as strengthen the connection of people, contributing to bringing English into life", Tien said.

All classes are held online weekly on Zoom. Foundation classes open on Tuesdays and Fridays; Advanced classes on Thursdays, both from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. To join the classes, learners access the Fanpage of the "Khanh Hoa residents speak English" program and get connected to the class link.
