At the creative "Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa destination image through stamps & STEAM activity themed “Defending the citadel" organized by Nha Trang City Youth Startup and Creativity Club, young people learned about the history and culture of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa through stamps.
Joining the activities, young people had the opportunity to compete in knowledge quizzes about Doctor A. Yersin, Dien Khanh Citadel and other famous places in Khanh Hoa. Participating in a STEAM activity for the first time, Nguyen Phi Long, a student at Ha Huy Tap High School, was very excited. "The program combines learning about history, culture and STEAM experiments. At the same time, I also work in groups with other friends to complete the task of creating a catapult model," he said.
According to Truong Ngoc Long, a member of the Board of Directors of Nha Trang City Youth Startup and Creativity Club, in addition to learning about culture and history through stamps, the Club also combines STEAM activities with the theme of Generals defending the citadel so that young people and students have the opportunity to work in groups, join creative experience activities and learn about history most dynamically.
Young people were divided into groups, using wooden sticks, rubber bands, plastic bottle caps and so on to create a catapult used in warfare to defend Dien Khanh Citadel in the old times. Nha Trang City Youth Startup and Creativity Club, Nha Trang City Youth Federation was founded in June towards organizing innovation competitions for members and students in the city; and carry out practical projects such as designing and manufacturing smart products and devices.

In addition to establishing the Club, recently, the City Youth Union at all levels has promoted STEAM education for young people to foster creativity and teamwork skills. The City Youth Union has just organized a STEAM Technical Innovation Day for more than 200 union officials, members and young people.
Thanks to the guidance of lecturers from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, young people understand more about STEAM activities and their application in real life. The activities also help Youth Union officials of communes and wards to effectively implement STEAM educational activities at the grassroots level.
According to Chu Minh Phuong, Acting Secretary of Nha Trang City Youth Union, promoting STEAM education and activities is a new highlight of the Youth Union's tasks in Nha Trang City in recent times. STEAM competitions and experiment activities inspire the creative thinking and creativity, contributing to building a smart and green city in line with the future development orientation of Nha Trang City and Khanh Hoa Province.
In the coming time, the City Youth Union will continue to expand STEAM activities and gradually increase its size and scale to attract the participation of more members and students.
