Workshop on high-tech park development

Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Science and Technology organized a workshop on high-tech parks and conditions for developing high-tech parks on August 6. Present at the event were Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Le Hung, Deputy Director of the High Technology Department (Ministry of Science and Technology); and delegates from departments and agencies; experts and scientists inside and outside the province.

Experts and scientists discussed and proposed solutions on policies to promote the development of high-tech parks and high-tech enterprises; the relationship among the government, enterprises, financial institutions and research facilities in implementing programs and activities to develop high-tech parks; choosing suitable high-tech models for localities to attract investment.

In addition, delegates also discussed plans for space allocation and solutions to develop high-tech parks in accordance with provincial planning and zoning planning; plans to provide convenient technical infrastructures and services to meet the requirements of high-tech research and development, etc.
