Provincial delegation pays working visit to Ulsan City (S.Korea)

Khanh Hoa Provincial delegation led by Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee had a working session with the authority of Ulsan City (South Korea) on September 23. Accompanying the provincial delegation were Tran Thu Mai, Vice-Chairperson of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee together with leaders of some local departments and agencies. Kim Doo Gyum, Ulsan City Mayor received the delegation. This is the first activity of the provincial working program in South Korea on September 22-28.

The leaders of Khanh Hoa and Ulsan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strengthening cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Ulsan, which marks an important development in the relationship established since 2002 between the two localities.

This is the second time Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan has taken a working visit to Ulsan City at the invitation of Mayor Kim Doo Gyum. The Memorandum focuses on key areas of cooperation such as tourism, culture, sports, people-to-people exchange and human resource training.

Nguyen Tan Tuan gave an overview of provincial socio-economic development, especially the remarkable tourism rebound with more than 8 million tourist arrivals in the 8 months of 2024.  The provincial leader expressed gratitude for Ulsan City’s support in human resource training, cultural exchanges and equipment provision to the province over the past period. The province hopes to broaden economic cooperation and appeal to Ulsan businesses to explore investment opportunities in Khanh Hoa.
