Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just organized the Digital Technology Day for the first time, promoting digital transformation in many fields, providing opportunities for residents and businesses to explore and experience technological solutions, online services, technology applications and digital transformation solutions.

Practical digital experiences

A resident named Huynh Duc Du (Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City) came to the booth of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center at Digital Technology Day event for the replacement of a Class B2 automobile driving license.

 “This is the first time I have changed my driver's license. However, due to technological barriers due to my old age, I have not yet submitted my application online. On the occasion of the Digital Technology Day, I came to get support with online registration. The staff was so enthusiastic.”

Nguyen Thi Thanh (Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang) happily said, "I have registered to experience some technological services and products here and received valuable gifts. I found such technology events very essential for residents to get access to digital transformation.”

Another resident named Nguyen Thi Phuong (Phuoc Hai Ward, Nha Trang) said that she herself often live streams to sell some agricultural products. Here, she could learn more about how to communicate and interact with consumers efficiently during livestream shopping.

There are many technology booths featuring online public services such as e-identification - VNeID, guiding people on how to use the National Public Service Portal for procedures issued by the Ministry of Public Security; online vocational constancy, employment and healthcare solutions; tourism-based Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented reality (AR) and Mixed reality (MR) by the Department of Tourism.

The Department of Information and Communications guides people how to install apps reporting social issues. The Department of Education and Training introduces school management software; smart classroom and digital school solutions and so on.

The event also saw the participation of some banks, namely Vietcombank, Agribank, Kien Long Bank, etc. “We introduce digital banking apps to encourage cashless payments. The event is a good opportunity for banks to interact with customers and access their needs better,” said Nguyen Thi Van Anh, Chief Controller of Kien Long Bank Khanh Hoa Branch.

Technical event of great significance

Technology booths of businesses and universities featured digital technology products, services and solutions for the digital government, smart cities; cybersecurity, digital governance, digital finance and digital business; digital signatures, digital communities, digital life; digital citizens, open data and digital start-ups.

 “Viettel Khanh Hoa introduces 5G telecommunications network infrastructures; smart loudspeaker system, platforms supporting the construction of e-government using virtual assistants, Intelligent Operations Center in the smart city system.

Khanh Hoa Digital Technology Day 2024 has been the largest technology event ever held in the province, convening many businesses inside and outside the province. Especially, the event took place at 2-4 Square, providing opportunities for visitors and businesses to meet and interact with each other, according to Nguyen Hoang Bao Duy, Deputy Director of Viettel Khanh Hoa.

 Dinh Thi Thuy, General Director of MISA Joint Stock Company (Hanoi City) said, “Our company specializes in manufacturing and providing software solutions for state agencies, enterprises and businesses. Participating in Khanh Hoa Digital Technology Festival 2024, I realized the concern of Khanh Hoa provincial leaders, departments and branches for digital transformation promotion activities in the province”.

According  to Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Khanh Hoa Digital Technology Day 2024 has attracted many visitors and businesses, showing their interest in digital transformation, paving the way for such events to be held annually or periodically to facilitate public access to technology solutions and new technology trends.

At Khanh Hoa Digital Technology Day 2024, several technology solutions were introduced such as Online Presentation Program for the national domain name ".vn" (Vietnam Internet Center); digital signature products (Viettel Khanh Hoa); 3D and VR360 application solutions, AI for promoting investment in the agricultural sector (VNA International Technology Joint Stock Company); sharing practical digital management experience, digital finance and digital business (MISA Joint Stock Company); support policies for businesses in Khanh Hoa Province (Tiktok Shop); 4.0 technology solutions (GB Global Information System Integration Joint Stock Company); smart monitoring and operating system (FPT IS Company Limited); Radio and television day with digital transformation trend (Khanh Hoa Radio and Television); artificial intelligence (AI) in business management, optimizing workflows and improving strategic decisions (DK Technology and Solutions Company Limited); smart traffic monitoring and social safety solutions (ATDD Vietnam Joint Stock Company); digital government solutions and smart camera systems (HCTECH Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company), etc.
