Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee worked with Nozaki Takao, President of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH) on October 10.
Nozaki Takao thanked the Khanh Hoa provincial government for creating a favorable investment environment for Japanese enterprises to operate effectively and honored Khanh Hoa's respect for the friendship with Japanese partners. He assessed that Khanh Hoa Province's infrastructures are relatively synchronous and comprehensive with several potential strengths for socio-economic development. The delegation will conduct a survey in areas with the province's development potential suitable for Japan's industries to appeal investors.

Le Huu Hoang gave an overview of provincial socio-economic development and strategies, especially investment appeal over years. Japan is the biggest foreign investor of Khanh Hoa Province with a total registered investment capital of more than USD2.662 billion focusing on the fields of energy, production and aquaculture processing. Khanh Hoa pledged to ensure a transparent, open and safe investment environment.
Le Huu Hoang also hoped that Japanese investors would invest in the following areas of health care, industrial sector in Nam Van Phong, projects on seaports, logistics, petrochemical industrial zones, renewable energy, high-tech manufacturing, information technology/software production/artificial intelligence/semiconductors; biotechnology, etc.
