Khanh Hoa Provincial Educational Management Center located at the Department of Education and Training has just officially come into operation.

According to Vo Hoan Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Education Management Center is one of the first centers based on specialized databases nationwide. The construction of the center is one of the 2 key tasks in the digital transformation in education in the period 2023 - 2025.

The center aims to establish an education management database that meets several requirements, including integration and interconnection with the province’s IOC operations center; data readiness to ensure data ready for the deployment of applications and utilities that support management, operations, and teaching;  information provision to provide complete, fast, and accurate information to aid in management, operations, and decision-making for education management agencies; open education system to attract socio-economic organizations and individuals to collaborate in advancing education and training towards comprehensive international standards.

To put the center into operation, the provincial Department of Education and Training has undertaken a 2-year process from updating the database to consulting the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training on data source connection.

With the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Information Technology of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Department of Education and Training has signed a cooperation agreement with Quang Ich Technology Group Joint Stock Company to build an educational database system of the provincial Education sector; and coordinate in the installation, operation, training and upgrading as required by of the Department of Education and Training.

The center has features that integrate a school network map; a real-time attendance tracking and alert system; a school enrollment monitoring and operation system; a system for student enrolment and teacher statistics forecasting towards direct connection to the school's camera management system, facilitating managers at all levels to observe teaching and learning at school online.

This is a place to synthesize all information sources and data of the provincial education and training sector, thus helping leaders at all levels to have comprehensive education monitoring, direction and support, enabling big data analysis, supporting decision-making, and generating statistical reports quickly and accurately.

 The Provincial Education Management Center is considered a "digital brain" that is able to integrate existing data and systems with central control software, creating a panoramic view of the province's education.

The center manages education and training targets, monitors educational management performance, and ensures the quality of teaching and learning in both public and private educational institutions within the province. This approach facilitates transparent, efficient, and effective management and processing of tasks. Additionally, the center provides warnings and forecasts to aid managers in decision-making.

For smooth operation from the provincial level to schools, the center requires fully updated database. The Department of Education and Training has issued directives to schools to ensure these requirements are met.

In the coming time, the Department of Education and Training will continue to build a real-time data connection axis with the database of education and training and other industries; build a statistical reporting system, synthesize data according to local management requirements such as school network scale, learning outcomes, student enrollment, multiple platform support, etc.

During the implementation process, the center will review and update the database, ensuring accurate assessment of education and training for necessary forecasts and directions.
