Responding to emulation movement to join hands to eliminate dilapidated houses

Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee worked with the leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee of the province and commercial bank branches on November 12 to respond to the contribution to the Fund for the Poor 2024 and the emulation campaign "Joining hands to eliminate dilapidated houses in the province by 2025". Also present at the working session were Tran Thu Mai, Chairperson of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Currently, there are more than 1,500 poor and disadvantaged households living in dilapidated houses in the province. Nearly VND67.9 billion is required to eliminate dilapidated houses for 1,557 families.

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has planned to organize a ceremony on November 15 to launch the contribution to the Fund for the Poor 2024, responding to the emulation campaign "Joining hands to eliminate dilapidated houses in the province by 2025".

The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will cooperate with local authorities and member agencies to raise funds for house construction and repair for the disadvantaged, contributing to reducing the poverty rate in the province.
