Nha Trang City People's Committee held a technical consultation meeting on December 3 to outline sea turtle translocation for conservation in Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area.
At the meeting, the leaders of Nha Trang Bay Management Board reported the outline for the conservation of translocated sea turtles in Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area, specifically translocating turtle eggs from Con Dao National Park (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province) to Nha Trang Bay for hatching.

Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nguyen Chu Hoi, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Vietnam Fisheries Association evaluated the implementation of the Master Plan for Nha Trang Bay Restoration to 2030 of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Thi Thu Hien, Coordinator of the Sea and Coastal Program (International Union for Conservation of Nature) reported the current sea turtle conservation in Vietnam; representatives of Con Dao National Park shared technical experience in sea turtle conservation in Con Dao National Park.
The delegates also discussed and shared opinions, forming a basis for a detailed outline of translocated sea turtles for conservation in Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area, contributing to supporting and conserving sea turtles in the Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area and neighboring waters in the Master Plan for the restoration of Nha Trang Bay until 2030.
