Recently, the Women's Association at all levels in Nha Trang City has coordinated with other agencies to organize vocational training courses for members and women, thus helping them gain more professional knowledge and livelihood skills to increase income and improve their living standards.
Every year, Phuoc Hai Ward Women's Union opens vocational training classes for women facing financial hardship, unemployment or those who aspire to start their own businesses to help them improve their skills and find suitable jobs to increase their income.

In previous years, the union jointly with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs organized cooking and baking classes for about 50 people/class. Since 2022, the union has opened beverage classes for more than 80 people/class, helping many increase their employability.
Huynh Thi Thuy Lieu (Group 6, Phuoc Loc, Phuoc Hai Ward) used to stay unemployed at home as a housewife with financial dependence. Due to difficult economic conditions, her husband had to work far from home in Tay Ninh Province. In 2022, after taking a cocktail-making class, she decided to open a shop selling all kinds of drinks, earning about VND300,000 per day. "Thanks to the class, I can run the shop and get income to care for my family," she said.
Identifying the importance of career guidance and training for women, the Women's Union of Vinh Phuoc Ward in 2024, coordinated with HT Chef Vocational Training Center to open 2 cooking classes for 95 women. On national holidays, the union jointly opens baking classes for women in the ward. The union also recommends jobs to new graduates with an income of VND4.5 to 5 million/ month/ person. In addition, the Women's Union staff of the ward also provide business experience 2 evenings a week.
In 2024, the Nha Trang City Women's Union organized a baking course for 120 people. Trainees were also provided with knowledge on business startups such as management and operation in startups; culture and communication skills in business for women entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, the Women's Union of Inner City Block 2 opened a training class on home mushroom cultivation and product consumption with the participation of nearly 300 female members from the wards of Phuong Sai, Vinh Hoa, Vinh Hai, Van Thanh and Ngoc Hiep. After studying the theory, the trainees practiced mushroom cultivation at the Nha Trang Mushroom Cooperative (Vinh Trung Commune). Additionally, Women's Unions in other areas provided training in baking, bird's nest feather picking, and seafood processing for women.
Le Thi Bich Huyen, Vice-Chairman of Nha Trang City Women's Union highlighted the union's recent efforts in promoting vocational training which has helped members secure suitable jobs, increase their income and achieve financial growth.
In the coming time, the union at all levels will continue to promote and provide training in new occupations that are suitable for female workers to meet market demand. They will also encourage women to learn trades and assist them in finding employment.
