Belarusian Consul General Ruslan Varankou visits Khanh Hoa

Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee met with Ruslan Varankou, Belarusian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City on February 18. At the meeting, Nghiem Xuan Thanh gave an overview of provincial potentials, strengths, socio-economic development strategies; and the Politburo's Resolution No. 09 on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province till 2030 with a vision till 2045. The province has determined that by 2030, the province will become a centrally-governed smart, sustainable, internationally-connected city; and an international center for marine tourism and services.

Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh hopes that the Belarusian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will support the province in introducing the province's potentials, advantages and incentives to Belarusian investors in tourism, finance, trade, logistics, education and urban development; processing and manufacturing industries; energy; information technology and telecommunications; Belarusian Famtrip delegations in exploring tourism products and services in Khanh Hoa; and organizing other related tourism activities and events to expand tourism cooperation; consider the feasibility of opening a direct flight connecting Khanh Hoa Province - Belarus to facilitate trade and tourism development...

Ruslan Varankou praised Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa for its ideal climate and picturesque landscapes. He agreed with the proposals of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary and hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would continue coordinating for economic development; import and export increase between Belarus and Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in particular and Vietnam in general.
