Khanh Hoa Association for Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims celebrated the 20th foundation anniversary (2005 - 2025) on February 28. Present at the event were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee of the province and more than 200 delegates representing departments, agencies, sectors and businesses caring for Agent Orange victims.

There are 8 associations at district-level, 4 at commune-level and 83 branches with 2,180 members. More than 9,000 disadvantaged people have reportedly been exposed to toxic chemicals.
Over the years, the association at all levels has mobilized support from organizations and individuals, providing over 20,000 gifts worth a total of VND 5 billion to Agent Orange victims; received more than VND2 billion in contributions to the Agent Orange Victims Fund. Besides, the association at all levels has financed the construction of 41 houses, repaired 40 houses worth more than VND5 billion for members in need; awarded hundreds of scholarships to students, provided production capital and free medical examination and treatment; visited and offered gifts on national holidays.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 group and 1 individual; Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin awarded commemorative medals to 4 individuals, certificates of merit to 3 groups and 5 individuals. The Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin awarded certificates of merit to 6 groups and 25 individuals with outstanding achievements.
