Tourist attractions packed with visitors during Lunar New Year holiday

Tourist attractions in Khanh Hoa have drawn huge crowds of tourists and long queues during the 9-day Lunar New Year Holiday.

From January 25 to February 2 or from the 26th day of the last lunar year to the 5th of the Lunar New Year, 1,159 flights, including 377 domestic flights and 782 international ones, took off and landed at Cam Ranh International Airport.

It is estimated that from the 29th day of the Last Lunar Year to the 4th day of the Lunar New Year, the province welcomed more than 250,000 overnight tourists, a year-on-year increase of nearly 30.7% with a room occupancy rate of about 83.3%. as many as 575,000 tourist arrivals were recorded at tourist attractions, a year-on-year increase of 30.7% generating VND1,246.7 billion in revenue.

A variety of festive events were also celebrated at 4-5 star tourist accommodation establishments and tourist attractions to ring in the Lunar New Year such as New Year’s Eve buffets, lion dance, lucky money, calligraphy art, New Year discounts, music programs, folk games, lot-drawing, etc. to showcase unique traditional Vietnamese culture.
