Vietnam National Dress or Ao Dai Week runs on Mar.1-8

Khanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union has requested the Women's Unions of districts and towns and women's unions of affiliated units to respond to Vietnam National Dress or Ao Dai Week 2025.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Ao Dai Week with a mass performance of flashmob is on March 1-8. The event is in response to the 115th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the 1985th anniversary of Hai Ba Trung (Trung Sisters) Uprising towards the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Dong Khoi Movement, the 60th anniversary of the "Three Responsibilities" movement and the 50th anniversary of anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification.

The Vietnam national dress aims to raise public awareness of responsibilities for preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural heritage.

Women will dress up in Ao Dai (traditional long dress) in support of Vietnam Ao Dai Week from March 1 to March 8 when possible, especially on March 8. The week-long event aims to raise public awareness of responsibilities for preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural heritage.
