Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City visits Khanh Hoa

On March 17, Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee welcomed Masuo Ono, Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City and members in his delegation. Present at the reception was Tran Hoa Nam, Vice-Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee.

Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh gave an overview of local socio-economic strategies with favorable opportunities for development. The Politburo had issued Resolution No. 09 on the construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province to 2030 vision to 2045 with the goal that by 2030, Khanh Hoa Province will become a centrally-governed city. Khanh Hoa Province will implement preferential mechanisms tailored to industrial sectors where Japanese enterprises excel. Additionally, efforts will focus on strengthening connections and cooperation between tourism businesses from both regions, aiming to attract a growing number of Japanese tourists to Khanh Hoa.

Consul General of Japan Ono Masuo expressed his impression of the recent development of Khanh Hoa Province and promised to provide a link to promote the relationship between Khanh Hoa and Hiroshima Province, as well as other localities and partners in Japan; connect and support Khanh Hoa Province to implement projects in health, education, transportation, cultural exchange with Japan, etc.
