Glorious national festivities

Various activities are going on in communities to mark the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa's Liberation Day (April 2, 1975 – 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025). Along with cultural and artistic shows, various meaningful activities were also implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province to honor this historic occasion.

Nearly 100% of residential areas organize the national festival

Celebrations are being held throughout the province to commemorate the major national and provincial holidays. National flags adorn main roads, creating a festive atmosphere. At the Phu An Nam 4 Village Cultural House, Dien An Commune, Dien Khanh District, a large number of people gathered to review the heroic history of the Party Committee and the people of the whole province in the long resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism. as well as get informed of the socio-economic development of the province.

After the ceremony, people enthusiastically participated in folk games such as blindfolded kettle beating, sack jumping, lemon passing, bottle filling game, tug of war, etc. Tran Thi Dan, Phu An Nam 4 Village, said, "At the festival, besides a chance to review the heroic history, the festival is also an opportunity for residents to come together, enjoy themselves engaging in traditional folk games, helping to foster a sense of community and strengthen neighborhood connections."

In Suoi Hiep Commune, Dien Khanh District, locals were also very excited to join the national festival on this occasion. In addition to the cultural activities, the commune also offered 2 households in need VND3 million each and 2 households to repair their houses (VND15 million/ household). On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Beverage Joint Stock Company gave 60 gifts to the disadvantaged.

Nearly 100% of residential areas in the province have organized the national festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day and the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, national reunification with various activities, attracting the participation of many people.

Many meaningful activities

7-year-old Le Ngoc Bao Vy, Cam Nghia 1 Primary School, is one of three students receiving aid worth VND500,000/month from the Ward Fatherland Front Committee in Hoa Thuan Residential Group. Her parents got divorced when she was young, and she has been raised by her grandparents ever since. However, her grandparents are elderly, making life increasingly difficult for her. As a result, she is now at risk of dropping out of school.

Vy's grandmother Thai Thi Nhung said, "My family has received a lot of support from the local government and many others in the village. The Ward Fatherland Front ​​​​​​offers my grandchild a grant of VND500,000/month to cover her school fee to continue her education. I am so grateful."

Representatives of Cam Nghia Ward Front present gifts to support 3 students under the ‘Child sponsorship’ model.

Nguyen Thi Mua, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Nghia Ward said, “The Child sponsorship model of Hoa Thuan Residential Group has 9 members in charge of mobilizing financial support for poor students. This is the first model in Cam Ranh City. In the coming time, the Ward Front will expand to residential groups throughout the ward, contributing to reducing school drop-outs, effectively implementing the target of illiteracy elimination.

On this occasion, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Nghia Ward also launched the self-management model "flag and flower route" in Nghia Binh Residential Group with a length of more than 700m. In Vinh Luong commune, Nha Trang City, on the occasion of this anniversary, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune offerd 100 gifts worth more than VND25 million in total to poor households; coordinated with Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort to install 4 solar lights in the alley of Luong Hoa Village with a length of 200m.

In addition, the Commune Fatherland Front has coordinated with associations and organizations to deploy the model of "Planting flowers to create a green, clean and beautiful landscape" along Hon Vu Street (Vo Tanh 1 Village) and Quang Dung Street (Van Dang 2 Village) with a length of more than 250m. Nearly 100 Cassia fistula and jasmine flowers were cultivated to add more attraction to the natural landscape and keep the environment green, clean and beautiful.

In addition to the above models and activities, on the evening of March 29, the Commune Front also organized an inter-residential art performance night with the participation of more than 60 union members, youth, students and cadres, civil servants and residents from 10 villages in the commune. It also showcased musical performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and love for the homeland. This meaningful activity aimed to instill pride in the revolutionary historical tradition while promoting and preserving cultural identity, according to Chu Thi Phuong Nga, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Luong Commune.
