Khanh Hoa People's Council and Saint Petersburg City Legislative Council sign cooperation agreement

Within the framework of a working trip to Russia, Khanh Hoa Provincial delegation led by Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Secretary of Provincial Party Agencies has just paid a working visit to the Legislative Council of Saint Petersburg City.

Present at the welcoming ceremony were Alexander Nikolaevich Belsky, Chairman of the Legislative Council of Saint Petersburg City and leaders of the Legislative Council and the government of Saint Petersburg City.

At the working session, the leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council and the Legislative Council of Saint Petersburg City signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, opening up opportunities to promote bilateral cooperation in many fields. This is also a solid step forward contributing to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

This event took place in the context of Vietnam and Russia celebrating the 75th anniversary of Vietnam – Russia diplomatic ties (1950 - 2025) and recalling the historical milestone when President Ho Chi Minh set foot in Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg) in 1923 during his national salvation journey.
