Flag-raising ceremony to celebrate 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa's Liberation Day

On April 2, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Executive Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front in Khanh Hoa Province held a flag-raising ceremony at 2-4 Square to celebrate 50th anniversary of Khanh Hoa's Liberation (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Dinh, Central Party Committee Member, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam;  Mai Van Chinh Central Party Committee Member, Deputy Prime Minister; Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council, Secretary of Provincial Party Agencies; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial People’s Committee; Tran Thu Mai, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairperson of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Agencies together with members of Khanh Hoa Provincial Permanent Party Committee, Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Nha Trang City.

The flag-raising ceremony took place solemnly with the following rituals: flag raising and military parade joined by officers and soldiers from local agencies and schools, including from the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Police, Naval Region 4, Air Defense Division 377, Infantry Division 305, Naval Academy, Air Force Officer School,  Information Officer School, Navy Squadron 32, Infantry Battalion 460 of Infantry Regiment 974, Mechanized Reconnaissance Company and Information Company 18 (Provincial Military Command) and militia of Nha Trang City.

This activity was to propagandize the great significance of Khanh Hoa Province Liberation Day, as well as the 1975 Spring Victory. It was an opportunity for delegates to review the sacrifice as well as glorious victory in the national history of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Khanh Hoa. Over the past 50 years, continuing the remarkable historical epic, the Party Committee, government and people in the province have made efforts to overcome challenges and promote solidarity to build Khanh Hoa to become more and more beautiful and prosperous.
