Khanh Hoa Province’s first ornamental plant fair 2025, taking place from April 1 to 7, organized by the Provincial Farmers' Association at Yen Phi Park and Children's Park (Nha Trang City) displays thousands of unique ornamental plants.
The artisans of Cam Hiep Bac Commune’s association of bonsai and ornamental plants, Cam Lam District, brought more than 40 works of bonsai to the exhibition, including 2 beautifully shaped bonsai trees which have won many prizes for many years; 1 antidesma acidum tree growing lushly like an ancient banyan tree, worth hundreds of millions dong; and 1 antidesma acidum tree with 2 parallel branches, symbolizing brotherhood.

Ninh Hoa Town Farmers' Association impressed viewers with a garden of colorful orchids, including dendro, dendrobium anosmum, aloe-leafed cymbidium, and well-known rhynchostylis gigantea in Hon Heo Mountain, Ninh Hoa Town.
Many visitors to the exhibition were interested in a fragrant calanthe ruben with unique shape of Minh Khai nursery (Nha Trang City). This orchid features a wine-bottle-shaped base and stems that grow high and bloom in clusters like fireworks. This type of orchid is not too expensive, but it is difficult to nurture them to flower.
The artisans from Long An Province transported hundreds of bonsai trees of different sizes to Khanh Hoa Province’s first ornamental plant fair 2025 in order to promote their bonsai trees as well as exchange experience and learn more about bonsai techniques from artisans in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa and other provinces participating in the fair.
According to Phan Minh Kinh, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Ornamental Creature Association, in recent years, along with other localities nationwide, Khanh Hoa Province has seen a development of the practice of cultivating and nurturing flowers and ornamental plants. The association’s members and artisans in Khanh Hoa often organize meetings to exchange information about ornamental creatures; organize competitions and exhibitions of ornamental creature works such as orchid, bonsai, and red-whiskered bulbul.

Reportedly, this is the first edition of Khanh Hoa Province’s ornamental plant fair organized by the Provincial Farmers' Association. The fair features more than 3,200 works displayed in 50 booths, including: high-class fine art wooden furniture, ornamental stones, driftwood, ceramics, aloeswood, orchids, products of ornamental creatures of artisans, nurseries, farmers, the members of the Ornamental Creature Association in Khanh Hoa and some provinces and cities nationwide. The ornamental creature works had been carefully selected with high aesthetic and artistic value. The fair aims to create a useful playground for members of farmers’ associations, artisans, clubs, and nurseries and promote ornamental creature movement in Khanh Hoa and other localities.
