On April 4, Khanh Hoa Provincial delegate led by Le Huu Hoang, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee paid tribute to Khamtay Siphandone, former President of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee, former State President and former Prime Minister at the Consulate General of Laos in Ho Chi Minh City.

Khamtay Siphandone was one of the pioneering leaders in the Lao revolutionary movement, playing a crucial role in securing its ultimate victory. He remained a close and trusted friend of Vietnam with significant contributions to strengthening and advancing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations of Vietnam and Laos.
