Well implementing policies for people with revolutionary contributions

Implementing the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", the province always takes care of material and spiritual life of people with revolutionary contribution and their family and considers this one of the important tasks. Currently, the province is managing more than 55,000 records of people with revolutionary contribution, of which 5,772 people receive monthly preferential allowances with a total budget of more than VND16.7 billion. The policies for people with revolutionary contribution are implemented in accordance with regulations, ensuring providing proper care for their physical and spiritual health.

Khanh Hoa also actively calls for public contribution to the funds for people with revolutionary contribution. From 2022 to the end of 2024, the province collected more than VND14 billion, which was used to build and repair 82 houses for people with revolutionary contribution; offer them support when they are sick; give them holidays, Tet gifts, etc. Besides, units, localities and businesses show their responsibility and gratitude towards people with revolutionary contribution through many activities such as taking care of Vietnamese heroic mothers; repairing and embellishing martyrs' cemeteries; and visiting and giving gifts to the people on occasions of holidays and Tet. Currently, 100% of families of people with revolutionary contribution in the province have a good living condition.

The province also takes care of martyrs' graves and cemeteries regularly. There are now 126 works honoring martyrs, including 7 cemeteries, 42 memorials, 4 temples and 73 buildings of steles in Khanh Hoa. From 2019 to present, the province has built, repaired and embellished 72 works honoring martyrs; built 201 new martyrs' graves; repaired and embellished 3,810 martyrs' graves with a total cost of more than VND84 billion.
