Several practical and meaningful activities are scheduled to be held in response to the Workers' Month 2025 in Khanh Hoa Province for the sake of Trade Union members and employees.
According to Phan Thanh Liem, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, this year's Workers' Month themed "Vietnamese Workers: Pioneers Entering a New Era" takes place throughout May with a diverse range of activities. These initiatives highlight the working class's vital role, position and contributions in national liberation, construction and defense. As a pioneering force in the nation's innovation and development, Vietnamese workers are at the forefront of creative labor, confidently embracing the era of national advancement.

The campaign also encourages workers to enhance their qualifications and skills, stay informed about the current labor trends and adapt to the evolving context of international integration. This proactive approach prepares the workforce for the next stage of the country’s growth and development.
The Workers' Month takes place concurrently with the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Hygiene, so response activities will be to raise awareness of the compliance with Occupational Safety and Health laws, etc.
As an organization an organization of workers whose purpose is to maintain or improve the conditions of their employment, caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, the Trade Union at all levels in the province has developed plans to organize many meaningful and practical activities towards the benefits of members and workers. Specifically, the Provincial Federation of Labor jointly with the Department of Home Affairs will launch the Workers' Month and the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Hygiene 2025 at Suoi Dau Industrial Park (Cam Lam District) on April 25. The Provincial Federation of Labor will organize a flag-raising ceremony of May at April 2 Square (Nha Trang City) attended by more than 500 delegates on May 5.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize the program "Meeting and dialogue in May between the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and workers"; the Union at all levels will organize the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era" to inspire members and workers to enhance their skills and qualifications; deploy emulation movements, encourage members and workers to innovate, have many initiatives, apply advanced technologies in production; organize competitions to propose initiatives, technical solutions for to production innovation. Those who excel in skilled worker competitions or make significant contributions through creativity and innovation will be recognized and honored for their achievements.
This year, the "Employee appreciation" program continues to be expanded with several activities, including visits by leaders of the Party committees, authorities, National Assembly deputies, People's Council deputies, employers... with gifts offered to workers; and "Trade Union Meals" to foster stronger connections with employees. The Provincial Federation of Labor will present 1,500 gifts to members and workers suffering from occupational accidents, diseases and are in difficult circumstances. The union at all levels will hold activities to support and express gratitude to workers who have demonstrated resilience, dedication and stayed with the company in the long run; organize vacations and workers families’ meetings. The Union at all levels will also organize a peak month for union member development, establish grassroots unions and recommend outstanding workers to the Party membership. There will also be dialogues and collective bargaining focusing on working hours, conditions and occupational safety, alongside efforts to promote emulation movements. To ensure workplace safety, the union will strengthen occupational safety and hygiene inspections.
Based on the plan issued by the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Trade Union at all levels will report and propose to the Party Committees and authorities at the same level on the plan to organize activities for Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene 2025; and participate in activities organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor. At least 70% of grassroots trade unions in enterprises and 50% of administrative agencies and public service units are expected to have at least one activity in response to the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene.
Response activities must be practical, effective, tailored to the working and production conditions of localities and enterprises, attracting the participation and coordination of all levels of sectors, organizations, media agencies, enterprises and union members and workers.
