Alexander Avdeev, Governor of Vladimir Oblast, Russia visits Khanh Hoa

Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee welcomed Alexander Avdeev, Governor of Vladimir Oblast, Russia and his delegation to Khanh Hoa Province on May 22. Also present at the event were Tran Hoa Nam, Vice-Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of some local agencies and departments.

At the reception, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh highly appreciated the visit of the Governor of Vladimir, emphasizing its significance as the two nations celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations (1950–2025).

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee gave an overview of the provincial socio-economic strengths and strategies, especially the marine economy and the relatively synchronous transport system. He hoped that the two localities would promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as tourism, investment, trade; science and technology; culture and education; especially the promotion of opening direct flights to facilitate exchanges and cooperation.

Governor Alexander Avdeev said that the delegation's trip aimed to seek cooperation opportunities in the fields of economy, investment, agriculture, seafood processing, etc. Located near the capital Moscow, Vladimir has significant potential in logistics and trade and is renowned as a popular tourist destination which may support Khanh Hoa in advancing key sectors such as education, agriculture, fisheries, tourism, etc.

He extended an invitation to the leaders of Khanh Hoa for a working visit to Vladimir in the near future.
