Former State President Tran Duc Luong passes away

Former Politburo member and former State President Tran Duc Luong passed away at 10:51 p.m on May 20 after a period of illness.

Despite the dedicated treatment from the Party, the State and medical professionals, along with the devoted care of his family, his advanced age and deteriorating health ultimately led to his passing at the age of 88.
