S. Korean Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City visits Khanh Hoa

Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial People’s Committee met with Shin Choong Il, South Korean Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City on the trip to Khanh Hoa Province to attend the Culture and Sea Tourism Festival 2025.

At the meeting, Consul General Shin Choong Il said that HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is planning to extend and expand its scale. Shin Choong Il hoped that the provincial leaders would create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented effectively.

With the increasing number of Korean tourists to Khanh Hoa, Consul General Shin Choong Il proposed that Khanh Hoa Province would support the installation of information boards in Korean at Cam Ranh International Airport.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan hoped that Shin Choong Il would continue providing a link to introduce the potential and strengths of Khanh Hoa to the Korean business community, especially in the fields of clean energy, electronics, semiconductors, logistics and manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, etc.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan assigned relevant departments and agencies to promptly implement Consul General Shin Choong Il’s proposals, adding the provincial leader had agreed in principle to allow HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. to expand its production area by 20 ha.
