Candle-lighting ceremony at Ca Du Martyrs' Cemetery

A candle-lighting ceremony was organized at Ca Du Martyrs' Cemetery on July 26 by Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947-2025).

Present at the event were Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; Pham Van Hau, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Members of the Provincial Standing Committee: Lam Dong, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Mass Mobilization and Propaganda; Nguyen Tien Duc, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

At the ceremony, provincial leaders and delegates offered incense and laid wreaths to pay tribute to heroic martyrs. The youth with heartfelt gratitude promised to continue promoting the cherished traditions, dedicating themselves to hard work and diligent study, contributing to socio-economic development, national defense and prosperity.

Then, the provincial leaders, the Provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee and more than 200 Youth Union members and young people offered incense and flowers at the memorial; lit candles to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland.
